1. Check Eligibility Criteria First:

• Age Limit: Generally 18 to 22 years.
  • Navik (GD) & Navik (DB) for 01/2026 & 02/2026 batches: Born between August 01, 2004, to August 01, 2008 (both dates inclusive).
  • Yantrik for 01/2026 batch: Born between March 01, 2004, to March 01, 2008 (both dates inclusive).
  • Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) for posts reserved for them.
• Educational Qualification:
  • Navik (General Duty): Class 12th passed with Maths and Physics from a COBSE-recognized board.
  • Navik (Domestic Branch): Class 10th passed from a COBSE-recognized board.
  • Yantrik: Class 10th passed from a COBSE-recognized board AND a 3 or 4-year Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering approved by AICTE. OR Class 10th & Class 12th passed from a COBSE-recognized board “AND” a 2 or 3-year Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering approved by AICTE.

2. Gather Required Documents (Scanned Copies):

You will need to upload scanned copies of the following documents in the prescribed format and size:

• Recent passport-size colored photograph (not older than 3 months).
• Scanned signature (in black ink).
• Scanned left thumb impression.
• Date of Birth proof (10th mark sheet/certificate).
• Identity proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, or Passport).
• Class 10th mark sheet and certificate.
• Class 12th mark sheet and certificate (for Navik GD).
• Diploma certificate and mark sheets (for Yantrik).
• EWS/SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) Certificate (if applicable, ensure it’s issued earlier than the closing date of application).
• Scanned signature of Parent (Father/Mother) or Guardian if the candidate is less than 18 years of age.
• Hand-written declaration (as per official notification).
• Service Certificate/NOC (for currently serving CG Personnel or a civilian ICG employee, if applicable).

3. Online Application Process:

• Visit the Official Website: Go to the official Indian Coast Guard recruitment portal: https://joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in.
• New Registration: If you are a new user, click on the “New Registration” or “Join ICG as Enrolled Personnel (CGEPT)” link.
  • Register yourself using a valid Email ID and Mobile Number. Keep these details safe as all communication will be sent to them.
  • Verify your mobile and email through OTP-based verification.
• Login: After successful registration, log in using the credentials (registered Email ID and system-generated Password) you received on your email. You might be redirected to reset your password.
• Fill the Application Form:

    • Secondary email ID (optional) and alternate mobile number (optional).
